Ingredients:

  • 4 beef steaks (tenderized round or sirloin)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Vegetable oil for frying

For the Gravy:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Breading:
    In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and buttermilk together.
  2. Bread the Steaks:
    Dredge each steak in the flour mixture, then dip into the buttermilk mixture, and coat again with the flour mixture to create a thick crust.
  3. Fry the Steaks:
